well it has to be something that is turning right. If it is the torque the bolts are loose and that could cause major damage. check that and look around at the flywheel to see if something is rubbing
check the fuses in the trunk under the back window where the speakers are, I think it says "electrical" for the name of the fuse. It's a 10A fuse. But check them all just in case. I think you will find that when you are turning left or right, the gallons go up or down depending on which sensor is not functioning correctly.
