I had this with a honda and its very common, try taking out the fuel managmnet relay and getting it resoldered anyone can do this but its hard to spot the dodgy joins. the solder heats and expands and the car wont start till it cools this happens alot on hot days!!!

Sounds like a faulty fuel pressure regulator, or possibly the MAF sensor.

Wont start takes hours to start again

.When the injectors leak they flood the engine and holding pedal to the floor or waiting hours for fuel to dissipate. See if you have spark and fuel when it wont run. If there is no spark check the electronic control module under the cap

1997 Lincoln Continental Suspension Conversion Problem

It could be a wheel speed sensor that went out or something... When working with the wiring, something could have just gotten crossed or tapped to get these codes as well. The compressor shouldnt be running anymore if everything was tied off properly. Take it in somewhere and have the codes cleared and that should fix the problem hopefully. I know AutoZone has a reader, but I do not know if they have they ability to clear the codes.
I hope this helps.
