Hi, start by removing the steering wheel but before you can expose the 19mm nut that holds the steering wheel remove the air bag if you have one. If you do have one, it has (2) T-30 screws on each side of the steering wheel. If not, remove the center emblem with a small flat tip screwdriver gently. That should have exposed the 19mm nut. Pull the steering wheel off this should give you more access to the horn relay assembly. Don't rip anything apart from itself.

My nissan sentrasteering wheel locked up. wat could cause this?

that's not nice I would not want to be you when the steering wheel locked. It is possible that the steering lock mechanism has failed but is also possible that something has jammed to the system. Either in the steering box war in the steering system.
Others suggest that you get it checked properly so as not to put yourself or your family at risk.Regards

Tail lights and blinkers out on a 96 nissan hardbody pick up truck. Also when I turn the wheel to the right my horn honks by itself? Also my speedometer went out as well. I changed my fuses and they all...

  1. First check the alternator maybe you need to replace it.
  2. The horn honks when you turn the steering wheel because the wire inside the steering wheel is not fix.
  3. Visit a good mechanic and good electrician to check the alternator and the wirings.

Horn does't work n 2000 suburbun

Most systems have a horn, a relay, a fuse, and a switch inside the steering wheel. If you can find the horn, usually in the front behind the grille or next to the radiator, you can jump it directly from the battery with two heavy wires to see if it works. If it does not toot with power directly from the battery it is bad. If it does toot then find where the fuses/relays are by reading your owner's manual and replace the horn relay and/or fuse. Relays are generally plugged into the fuse panel too. You can visually inspect the fuse for failure. If no problem there then you are at the steering wheel disassembly and testing level which means special tools and knowledge. Due to airbag even a veteran shade tree mechanic will not venture into a steering wheel so dealer is indicated.
