Question about 1995 Buick Regal

2 Answers

I have a 1990 Buick Regal that will stall out of the blue. If it is cold outside it seems to run better, but as soon as it heats up outside, it won't idle great, and will just shut off as I am driving. Usually it will die when I let off the gas. could this be an EGR valve, and if so how do I check to see if it is bad. Also when I start the car, it really smells like gas out fo the exhaust.

Your problem lies with the ignition coil, when it gets hot the continuity of the current fail leaving a bad burn gas and eventually shutting off.

I had a problem that was very similar in my 95 Regal Gransport and replaced the ignition control module. Haven't had the problem since.

I have an 1990 buick regal custom and stalls when im griving it then dies can anyone help me on how to fix it.

Sounds to me like a fuel filter. When was the last time it was changed?Because if a car starts and runs till you give it gas under load then dies it is a fuel problem.Start by chaging fuel filter and if problem still persists then next thing to check is fuel pump.

I have a 1990 Buick Regal that stalls...

You might try a crank sensor, most of the time if you pull it out you may see a crack in it. It's between the top of the oil pan an the transmission, good luck.

My 2003 Buick Regal is running like ****

Per your description, it sounds as though you have a stuck injector. I assume you have a service engine light on. Take the vehicle to your local Auto Zone or Advance Auto Parts and ask them to scan the car for trouble codes, they will scan the vehicle at no charge to you.
Write the codes down and respond back to this post and we can get started.
Let me know.

I have a 1990 Buick Regal v-8 Does the radiator fluid move from radiator to reservor as engine heat and cools or remain in radiator except under extreme heat conditions?

A certain amount will run into resavor or draw out after it is shut off no matter what the tempature is, the only exception is if it is low on coolant in the radiator it will draw out of the resavor to maintain the right amount to the cooling system. but when engine is running it should not do either one because the coolant is flowing.
