Is the check engine light on?? you most likely have a problem with the throttle assembly. It is electronic, not cable driven, so that's why you can rev it. Nissan has had some problems with those. Normaly code P0507 ICS system comes up. But I don't know if your check engine light is on, but it should be, if throttle failed. There is also a switch (electronic) by the gas pedal, which sends all the signals to ECM to be processed and then to the throttle assembly. But those switches (by gas pedal) have been bulletproof. So I would be looking a the throttle asembly again. Good luck.

2005 dodge neon - revs high in park nuetral and tough to push break pedal down. mechanic doesn't know what it is. Anyone have this problem resolved before? Thanks

sounds to me like you have a vacuum leak. When you lose vacuum the brake booster doesn't operate right. You need to go too a different mechanic. Could be the idle selonoid staying open or even a bad brake booster or vacuum hose came off.

Have you checked out your air filter? Has your 02 GMC Envoy had a tuneup? Also you may need to replace your fuel filter as well. (especially if you drive in a dusty area) A vehicle as new as yours still needs preventive maintainence to keep the "new" parts working properly. While this won't stop the components from eventually breaking down and causing you headaches, its still a good idea to check these things.

I HAVE A 1998 FORD EXPEDITION RECENTLY I PURCHASED $10.00 IN GAS THE TRUCK STARTED TO HESTITATE AS I BEGAN TO PUSH ON THE GAS PEDDAL, THOUGHT IT WAS BAD GAS BUT SOMEONE SAID IT MIGHT BE MY TRANMISSION...

this could be vapor lock if it started shortly after buying fuel. To fix vapor lock, just unscrew the gas cap and release any trapped built up air.
Hope that helps, worth a shot
if this is helpful, please give it a thumbs up to help others, if it doesn't solve the problem, please repost and mention you already tried the gas cap.
good luck,

Clutch doesnt disengage when depressed

If the linkage is intact its the clutch springs, So you should change the "clutch plate" and "throw out berring" while your there. When you push the clutch peddal its usually soft and as the springs wear you have to push further down on the peddal to get it to disengauage. If the clutch plate was bad it would be slipping or you would not go at all

My 2000 chevy silverado 1500 is hard to start at times and when it starts the gas pedal sticks

First thing to do is look under the gas peddal to see if one of the kids toys got under there and is jamming something up?
Then try taking WD 40 and spraying insie and out under the hood where ever the gas peddal linkage is connected to one another. Let me know after this if it did any good and we'll try some other things,
If you already fixed it let me know and please leave me a thumbs up for the effort, Raz

if i remember correctly ,, the computer drops a few cylinders while cruising to save fuel and this turns off when you step on the gas again ,, so there may be nothing wrong with your truck

My 91bmw 735 misfires in low rpm and when i push gas peddal it struggles first and then picks up power, its been sitting for 5months with not too much gas in the tank, whats the problem in your oppinion?

drop the gas tank and get it cleaned out, also replace the screen on the fuel pump, your gas tank is full of debris and its restricting the fuel pump from picking up the gas. also, dont buy **** gas, those higher performance cars run better and last longer if you use 91 octane or better, it just burns cleaner.
