MY DRIVER SIDE POWER-WINDOW DOESNT WORK AS WELL. THE PASSANGER WINDOW WORKS JUST FINE. BUT ITS THE PASSANGER SIDE WINDOW THAT WILL GO DOWN SOMETIMES WELL, SOMETIMES A LIL AND WHEN COMING UP THE WINDOW ONLY DOES SO 1/4 OF AN INCH AT A TIME.AND DOESNT ALWAYS MOVE WHEN THE BUTTON IS PRESSED. SO I DON'T USE THE WINDOW. I WILL FINALLY GET IT UP A LIL AT A TIME THRU-OUT MY DRIVE OR BY REPEATINGLY TURNING ON THE VAN AND PUSHING THE SWITCH BECAUSE IT ONLY GOES UP A LIL BIT AT A TIME.

The window motors must be replaced in the windows that are inoperative.

Make sure all your Fuses are good... The window motors could be going bad. But I'd check the fuses if they just stopped working without any signs of beings slow or being worn out.

Same thing - power window problem

it's a switch problem. motormite/dorman makes these. try that and see how it works.

Hi, My 2002 Chevy Cavaliers windows have started having trouble rolling up. It seems they roll down fine, it's just when you try to roll them up either the 'button' doesn't work at all or it works...

Try spraying silicone spray down the sides (felt) where window slides (guides) up & down. Put window all the way down, spray them well, top to bottom, then run window up & down a few times. May not cure it, but should help. Be generous with it, but a little clean up later may be needed.

ok i had a simalar problem but hehe it wasnt the windo motor it wasnt that the switch was bad ok if its a 02-04 I think but might not be the same if the switch is in the center ok there are two lil metal connectors underneath the actual plastic switches and if the connecters are dirty it some times wont work and also the buttons have a little plastic peace that if breaks wont allow the connecters to touch see the diagram i have provided may not be the best but explains how for the most part

Possible window fuse blown?

if the fuse is blown none of the windows will work,it sound wierd but all the power to the window motors runs through the drivers side switch. the drivers side switch may be your culprit.to be sure check to see if you have power goin in to the other switches before you replace the drivers side switch.
