Question about 1998 Honda CR-V
The CRV periodically shuts of at different speed from 5mph to 70mph literally on the freeway...
Thanks to God I'm a skilled driver and safely pull over on the emergency road.
It's a scary thought knowing my CRV will shut off anytime.. the weird part is the car re-starts up with no problem.
What I do to prevent an accident while driving is shift the gear in neutral and re-start the ignition car again while I'm coasting with no power.
what's your opinion GURU?
Danm my crv does exaclty wat u guys are talking about but the dealership wont give me a solution straight answer

There was a recall for certain late 1990's CRVs due to a bad ignition switch. The vehicle will stall and may take several trys to get it going again. Tahe it to the dealersip and if your CR-V was recalled, they will fix it for free.
