Might be a weak or failing water pump... Does it leak antifreeze or do you have to add antifreeze very often? When the engine gets to operating temperature squeeze the top radiator hose and see if you can feel pressure from the water pump forcing water through it.

SOURCE: 2001 Pontiac Montana trouble code P1133 ???

Sounds like you have a wheel speed sensor bad
P1133 reffers to your oxygen sensor tho and would not be related to the ABS/trac control systems.

SOURCE: 2001 Pontiac Montana - what is a misfire #5?

Without your actual trouble code, I am assuming that you are have a misfire on cylinder # 5. The computer cannot really tell what is causing the misfire only that cyl 5 is not putting out full power. If it misfires when cold then smooths out as it warms up, I would say it is probably an injector that is sticky, as it warms up it starts working properly.

What is proper method for flushing the radiator and engine in a 1999 Pontiac Montana?

1: Drain coolant system
2: Purchase coolant flush, making sure you have the proper amount for your size of coolant system
3: Pour coolant flush into your radiator, filling the rest with water
4: On the coolant flush bottle it will tell you how long to run your vehicle
5: Once done running, let cool enough to open radiator cap, and drain system COMPLETELY by first draining out of pep **** on radiator, then taking one side of the hoses off the radiator and draining those
6: Put hoses back on and fill system with coolant. When the fluid gets to the top of the fill port on radiator, start vehicle and let run, allowing air to escape the system, and fill as necessary

2001 montana overheating. Had head gaskets replaced a few months ago, water pump, radiator, and flushed, why is overheating again

when you had the head gaskets replaced did they check to see if the head was warped? that could be a cause , also, and cheaper,, check the thermostat ,, they go bad,, and are a simple fix, just be sure to install them spring towards the motor , not the hose , also, while watching the motor, raise the RPM's and check to see that a hose isn't sucking to a flat position restricting water flow,

2001 montana is over heating and i replaced the radator and the thermasat and flushed it real good the water pump seems to be working

If the cooling fans are coming on and the upper and lower hoses are both hot than I am 99% positive you have bad head gaskets. It's not uncommon on the 3.4 liter engines. To confirm, with the engine cold remove the radiator cap. Start the engine and watch the coolant in the radiator. If you see a constant percolation of air bubbles coming out of the radiator that you more than likely have a bad head gasket(s).

Pontiac Montana overheating

How do you know the thermostat is ok? If in doubt replace it. Water pumps are a even bigger what if. Did he do a radiator flush? Cooling system flush of the engine? Cooling fans come on at what temp and go off when? Replace the engine temperature sensor? 6 years old is bound to have sensors and such go bad.
