Whenever I open or close the doors the automatic seatbelts do not move. The seatbelts aren't a good position to be "Stuck" in. Please help?

they are worn out, nearly 20 years old and that stuff happens. the cost to buy new ones is more than the value of the car, if you can even find them. replacement seat belts for 91-95 saturns were over 400 dollars for each side and that was 5 years ago.

I have a 2003 Hyundai tiberon SE. Recently the

the bulb is not working because the fuse is probably dead. (check by the drivers leg side for the fuse box). Door locks will not work because the alarm system needs to be repaired, or replaced. I donot know what to do with the cruise control. and your seatbelt sensors need to be replaced.

Driver seat belt will not extend out from door pillar.

I solved this on my 95 volvo 850 glt as follows:

pull the seatbelt pilar cover off from the door jamb. this runs vertically up the pilar between the front an back door (beside the front seats. Once opened loosen the belt by gently pulling the belt upward toward the roof. You'll have to do this sometimes in small increments. Once the seatbelt is pulled out all the way, spray small amount of lubricant into the joint where at the top of the belt spool. Also use a screw driver to push spool upward while pulling the belt. At first it's only going to release a little but eventually the lubricant will work its way into the seam at the top of the belt spool and loosen up the stuck inertia catch. Until it completely loosens you might have to remove the pilar cover again and work the seatbelt out (also use the screw driver technique described above) in order to use the seatbelt. When parking, I would relatch the seatbelt and pull the slack up around the back of the head rest. After a day or so it worked normally.

2003 dodge grand caravan driver's side window electric motor does not work

NO COST PROCEDURE TO FIX IT:

1. Sit in vehicle
2. Ignition key is on
3. Door in question is opennd (in case you closed door)
4. While door is open, press and hold power window button in desired window travel, keep button held
5. Pull to SLAM hard door closed with one hand while other hand holds button as per #4.
6. Watch window operate as it should.

7. Repeat steps 3-6 if necessary, usually the first try works!

This may be a temporary fix, works for few months or longer, repeat procedure when it fails again... :-)

What do i do?

there is a cable that the auto-seatbelt pulls and pushes from...after a while the cable gets worked into the groove and gets itself jammed and then burning up the motor that operates it. Some of the older Ford Escorts have the same problem. i haven't seen a Colt Vista's door but on the Escort i saw the slot in which the cable moved the seat-belt from the top after i removed the plastic cover. I immediately saw where it was jammed..shoved it in with a screw driver. then i removed the cover where the motor was (near the floor behind the driver's seat) and i manually cranked it to the closed position. The seat-belt was capable of being undone like a normal seat belt at the top. so i had to do that and clasp the bottom lap belt by hand for the lifetime of that car. i could have made it operational so it can jam up again but just kept it sationary to prevent that. At least i wouldn't get a ticket for no seatbelt. hope this helps.

1991 CIVIC LX AUTOMATIC SEATBELTS NOT WORKING.

I had a problem on a 91 Civic DX where the drivers auto seat belt wouldnt move and the beeper would not stop.Had a blown seat belt fuse.Replaced the fuse no more problem. The Seat belt fuses are located under the red cover that covers the positive battery terminal. On mine the fuse closest to the font of the car was for the drivers side auto seat belt the one closest to the windshield is for the passager seat belt. They are green and rated at 30A.

Take it the dealer. They should fix it at no charge because it's a safety issue. My integra is the same. I took it down to the dealer and they did not charge me anything until they say that my door is not original and wanted $200. I bought the car like that and not sure if it the original door or not. But if you are confident that your door is the original then take it down to the dealer.
