Is this happening at cold start or is it happening all the time? When did this start happening? Was it "all of a sudden" or a gradual thing that is getting worse. Let me know.

You may experiencing a cat. converter plugging up on you causing the exhaust to back up and find a way out and it'll find every little hole somewhere to come out.

Smoke blue

Check what thickness your oil is that your using. My Sonata was blowing blue smoke during winter & it was because i was using the 50W thick oil so i changed it to a 30W which is a thinner oil & the smoke stopped. But use the thicker 50W during summer. If this doesn't help, you might have a burnt valve(s) or your rings have gone! Goodluck anyway. :)

I put oil in my car and it has been leaking but it does not come out under my car, I noticed that there is a lot of oil on the motor from the cap and it smokes smells like burning oil. what should I do

you should check and replace the pcv valve,if it gets plugged it can cause too much pressure in the crankcase and it will leak out at the weakest point which usually is the oil fill cap.the vapor from the fumes leaking out has oil in it and when it touches anything that is hot it burns off causing the smoke and smell.once the vapor is gone the smoke and smell will eventually go away,or you can wash the motor off.

At 167,000 miles there will be wear on the piston bores and rings this means you will be burning off oil even during normal running

Standing test is to make sure that the car is in park and get someone to really rev the engine for a few seconds let it die down and do it again repeat this 6 or so times and I bet you will see a thin blue smoke coming from the muffler

Hi I have a 2001 hyundai accent, the car it drinking alot of engine oil and there is no leak or excess exhaust fumes - this yellow check engine light is also always on. What would this indicate?

Take it to a shop that can read the codes from the computer. It's called an OBD scan. As for the oil problem there is only 2 ways it can be leaving the engine. 1 is that it's being burned which is will have blueish smoke coming from the exhaust. 2 is a leak. I always try to park on some clean cardboard and that makes it easy to see the drops. If it doesn't leak while just sitting there have it run for 15mins while on the cardboard. Oh and 3 someones letting it out. Do you have any enemies?

HI

I think the cause can be a poor grounding connection in engine
that cause the (Oil,battery, door and hand brake lights all go on)
and no check engine light because of the (ECU) not work good
depending of no power in it because the poor ground ??

send more details after test to have more help
