I have a Grand Vitar Suzuki 2006, the light started flashing on the heater dial and the heaters was blowing cool air. My brother told me to check the antifreeze, I did and it was low, so I put some anitfreeze in the reserve. Since then, while the heat is on it smells like the car is runing hot and it is making this strange noise. What could this be?

When you filled the resevoir you could have over filled it. it should only be about half way up when the car is cool. If you over filled it, them some of it will come out when the car is hot. that would account for the smell. when it came out it could have gotten on the drive belt, this will cause the drive belt to chirp or squeal. To get it to stop, start the engine and pour some water on the belt, try to get the water on both sides of the belt. You might have to do this acouple of times. this will clean the coolant off the belt and stop the noise. Be carefull the belt will sling the water everywhere.

Heater blows cold air

Sounds like the cooling system is low on antifreeze. Have you checked to make sure it is at it's proper level?

The heater dose not working in kia sorento 2006

Kia tends to have rather poor heater control switches and motors. If your car has manual dials, then check any cables and fixings on the back of the control panel. These cables can come loose and fail to push and pull the armature on the heater matrix valve. If the car has an electronic climate control, then check the electric motor on the heater matrix valve as it may have failed.

I fueled up my 2007 Grand Vitar Suzuki and now my check enging light is on

The check engine light can come on for many reasons. I would try tightening my gas cap first. If that doesnt work you can go to autozone or a local parts store and have them pull the code. Usually this is free.

The heater in my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan only blows warm air while on low. If the dial is turned to high it blows cold air. What is the problem?

It sounds like the heater valve is not operating. Find the valve on the engine firewall passenger side and manually open the valve. Find it by following the 3/4 inch heater hose to the firewall where it is connected to the valve. Most likely the cable ( or vaccum hose)from the temperature dial to the valve needs replacing.

Suzuki SX4 2008

Hi! Try to blow them out using compressed air +-5 bar through heater vents, close the remaining vents and blow each one from the top down. Follow each vent duct to the heater box to see if anything came loose. Another solution is removing heater ducts starting at the heater box, use a thin brazing/weldinng wire with one end bent in a u shape, pushing it into the ducts. Happy hunting. Also check the inside of the heater box using a flash light. This might require some removal of console and facia panels located close to foot conrtols brake/clutch and accellorater pedals.
