Get a big 1/2 inch breaker bar to put in the tensioner. Take off the four bolts on the fan blades so that you have room for the larger breaker bar. Push the bar to the right and you should have plenty of slack. While you have it off, you should go ahead and replace the idler pulley....it's just one bolt....it's the top left pulley. BUY A GATES BELT, not a master pro!!!!
You need to put a socket with a rachet on the tensioner pulley and manually release the tension this tensioner has a spring in it that you push against to release the tension.

Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise and remove the drive belt
To install:
Accessory serpentine belt routing-Ford 4.6L, 5.4L, and 6.8L engines with A/C
Accessory serpentine belt routing-Ford 4.6L, 5.4L, and 6.8L engines without A/C
Please let me know if it's diesel because the routing is different.
