Missfire on cylinder 8 on bmw 545

move the ignition coil to another cylinder and see if the miss fire moves. If so replace that ignition coil. If the miss fire stays on that cylinder it is more likely the fuel injector. Was their carbon on the spark plugs when you removed them? This is indicative that the fuel injector is gummed up.

Missfire cylinder 8 545

Move the ignition coil to another cylinder and see if the problem moves. If it does it is the ignition coil replace it otherwise it is probably the fuel injector.

2006 dodge caravan, 6 cyl. relaced cole, sparkepugs and wires in oct. 2009. Engine is reading #2 cyl. misfire again. Why

Firts time swap spark plug & ignition coil between two different cylinders and read again if the same #2 cyl. misfires !
If #2 cyl. is OK and another cyl. misfires then spark plug or ignition coil is out of order and must be replaced.
If #2 cyl. misfires again then #2 injector must be checked !
If ignition coils & spark plugs (complete set for 6 cyl.) are replaced then you must check #2 injector !

The only thing you didn`t mention is the ignition module. It is under the coils and that is where the coils get there power from.Replace the module and I`m sure this will take care of your problem.Hope this helps.Good luck.
