I have the same problem with my Beretta 2.2 from 1990,car won,t start but when i hot wire the injector to the battery and put it back in the car starts at once.

When it stands still for about 2 hours or longer it wont start again so i have to repeat the whole hot wiring thing again.

Replaced the fuel pump relay ,but still the same problem!!

Check the fuel pump relay in a black box under the hood.

Have a 1990 Chevy Silverado pickup 350 Put a new fuel pump fuel filter screen fuel pump relay Fuse electronic control module cap rotor new injectors. Injectors won't spray but they have power. Fuel pump...

Disconnect the wire connection to the fuel pump, turn it on and test for 12V (or whatever your car battery voltage is) at the leads coming from the battery. If 12V is present the problem is the fuel pump. Test the continuity of the pump circuit at the same time (no power on for this test). set VOM to resistance attach to both leads going to pump. If reads 0.00 continuity is OK. If no reading pump circuit is open, pump motor is bad. I have had them bad right out of the box. Good lesson to learn whenever possible, ALWAYS bench test new parts before installing.

Truck starts and dies right away, new fuel pump, fuel filter,plugs,20 bucks in gas.spray starter fluid in it ,it stays on.until i stop spraying.fuel isgetting to the rail 1991 mitsubishi mighty max 2.4l

Sounds like your injectors have no power. Check fuses, and connections on the back of injectors. Then follow the wires back and make sure they are connected properly. If you have a power tester, see if you have power to the injectors as you are turning it over.. And stop using spray on it. That is very hard on any vehicle including diesels. Very hard on them

Wont start unless spraying gas in intake. will turn over til battery dead. getting spark at coil and pressure in fuel rail. sensors? injectors? computer?

Neither

You may have pressure but do you have 40 or more lbs
cycling the ignition key?

Listen for the fuel pump,Iam guessing it has an issue

Why -- it starts when you spray anything into the throttle

I have a 1999 chevy blazer that will turn over but won't start. prime with fuel runs untill it runs out. have code of p1351 in it

Need more info.......It could be the injectors are not pulsating...Check to see if it is spraying fuel from the injectors....If not it should be a clogged fuel filter or a fuel pump....It is almost definite though that it is the fuel pump/sending unit in the tank ...IF it is not spraying from injectors....
Disconnect battery remove main fuel line going in the fuel filter under vehicle frame at drivers side..with drain pan under it of course...Reconnect battery turn engine over and watch for fuel...
You will need an assistant...Most people think fuel is under great pressure but it is not.....If everything works the fuel will come out in a stream...But it wont come out like a bullet...
If fuel comes out Fuel pump in tank is good...Then your problem is at the injectors ...I would change the filter of course anyway...unless you just have...You will see rusty dirt come out of it if it is clogged...It is always good to change fuel filter every 15,ooo....Todays fuel is terrible...I would first check or swap fuel relay with a new relay or identical relay in fuse power block ...Make sure they are all good....................What engine and how many miles ? Hope this helps....Metalpoet

1998 Isuzu Amigo is getting no gas to the injectors, fuel is present at the injectors, node lights are indicating no pulses at the injectors, ECU checks out to be good, spray fuel in the intake and it...

Just because there is fuel at the injectors doesn't mean there is any fuel pressure. You need to check your fuel pressure and if is low or non-exisitant then you either have a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump.

Car won't start

check backnnector on distributor assy. It's hard to find because is on the side just in the point nobody reach. Often it missconnect or broke. check, fix or re adjust as needed. check firing order of cables If not result.... 1.-unplug any spark cable and put a screwdriver inside it and place it in a safe place near a ground point. The object is try to see the spark jumping to ground. 1 or 2 cm will work for it. If you see spark, check fuel pump circuitry. uncap carburator and see if injectors spray gas when you try to engine. If you can see spark, change module inside the distributor cap.
if injector doesn't spray, check fuel pump, you must hear it for few seconds when you turn key to accs if you place your ear near thank. fuel pump work for few seconds but no spray on injectors: the same module above mentioned. if injector sprays and spark jump, the car must start

2002 chevy Blazer hard starting did change fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter when we spray starting fluid in throttle body it will start.

replace the fuel injectors, that is the likely cause......

to test the injector, take the power clip off the top of the injector, take one wire and ground it to the body of the car, and another form the battery, to the other post on the injector, if you do not hear a pulsing sound coming from the injector it is bad, if you do, then you have a wiring problem.
