Question about 2000 Ford Econoline
I am not sure of how many miles are on the vehicle but I have seen this on a few where the harness behind the gauges were loose.. if you try to fix it your self be very carefull as the cable in the center is the speedo cable also important is that some have a small very thin wire that is connected to the shift indicator ,..this has to be removed carefully with a phillip and possibly a torx bit type driver.
Do not just pull the bezal out like a beast when you are working on it or it will cost you. Keep in mind that some of the dash plastic that surrounds the bezel and a few swithches may have to be removed too.
