Check your air filter and your fuel filter first. If it only happens when you stop, it could be a clogged fuel filter. You can also check your engine for vaccum leaks. A simple leak can make your car act like it has major damage.

I have a 1994 Mercury Villager Van, when i turn on the A/C the Van Hesitates and jerks at a stop light, but when going down the road, the van runs fine and A/C works great, What could be wrong?

Without AC on..... the vehicle is ok at stop light? If so, sounds as if the idle is too low with AC on causing the extra load on the engine. Is the vehicle in a good state of tune ( spar plugs etc )? The throttle plate may be dirty causing minumum idle spec to be off. Inspect throttle plate and clean a necessary and retest. There may also be a problem with the idle control motor or a problem with vacuum leaks causing this issue

What would cause my transmision to not go into reverse?

Transmissions work on clutches and clutches wear out. The wear is to the point that it cannot overcome the resistance when the vehicle is on the ground. It is time for an overhaul.

1998 Chevrolet conversion van. Hesitates on the

lol everything but the actual cause of the problem. The big clue here is your gauges. What sensor going bad will cause the gauges to jump? Ask your mechanic that wasted all your money replacing good sensors. Then you may want to find a good mechanic. The problem is a wiring problem. Probably the main hotline running from the ignition to the fuse block. Somewhere in that area. If you have the spark circuit on a scope you would find it flat line when it hesitates.
I dont think it is a short because if it was you would have blown fuses or smoke and or electrical smell. So it has to be an open circuit that would be nearly impossible to find. If I was going to just start replacing things, I would start with the ignition switch and then the fuse block and then any hot wires to and from both elements.

1992 Dodge 250 van, 318, Automatic - Dies when coming to a stop

I cannot see how adding a fuel additive would help to be honest. I would be looking for a split or leaking vacuum line, I have even seen a leaking evap canister before that caused a similar problem. Does the engine pull clean and strong when it is warm or at cruising speeds? Does it feel like its running lean or misfiring?
