Question about 2007 Chevrolet Suburban Three-Quarter-Ton LS
Engine seems to run fine, but the yellow indicator outline of an engine profile is lit continuously on the instrument panel and won't go out. Have checked the gas cap per the manual. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?
I had the same problem. I had to replace the Evpor Soinoid ( not sure of spelling). it is located underneth the spare tire. It cost me $33 and did it myself. Fixed problem. just don't forget to disconnect the battery.

Tips for a great answer:
The IPC determines that the system voltage is less than 11 volts or greater than 16 volts. The IPC receives a serial data message from the body control module (BCM) indicating the system voltage.
The IPC performs the displays test at the start of each ignition cycle. The indicator illuminates for approximately 3 seconds.
The ignition is on, with the engine off
