Question about 1984 Toyota Celica Supra
I have a 84' Toyota Celica Supra with a 5m motor. Manual trans. I have changed the plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Then yesterday I changed the fuel filter and still having a rough idle. Not often but it does hestate very little.
You said you replaced the plugs - did you use the toyota platinum plugs? I found out the hard way that even the platinum plugs from bosch or any other kind of platinum plug just doesn't work right. Yes, they are more expensive from toyota, but they can make a difference in the way the engine runs.

Oxgen sensor. if it idles rough...sometimes close to stalling, but as soon as you give it gas she runs okay.... then it may be the oxygen sensor.
