Question about 2000 Volkswagen Beetle
EPC could be Engine Power Control

I ran out of gas on my VW BEETLE 2001 last saturday and when I finally adde gas to the tank the car wouldn't start and the EPC light went on. I haven't been able to start it ever since..
any idea what the epc stands for and if it has anything to do with my runnin out of gas?

The EPC valve helps control the flow of oxygen.

Could be ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING. depends on the year model though as 1970 beetles never acomidated this luxuary.
