I have the same car, same problem. I got a letter a few years ago that said that there was a recall on the turn signal, which often stops working and that it would be fixed free of charge. I haven't had it fixed due to a lack of time, but I also know a shortcut when the problem happens...if the turn signal stops working, try to push the emergency flasher button on...and off. signal should start working

If You Have changed the bulbs to LEDs or higher wattage than standard bulbs then you will need a resistor in line, this will stop the blinking problem, one wire to to the positive (+) & One to the negative (-), couple O bucks on *B*y , If No bulbs have been changed then check your fuses & relays As A simple Fix is often the most missed one, Hope this Helps

Brake lights 65 mustang stopped working.I wondered can the issue be in steering column

On a "one brake light bulb per side" setup, the brake switch feeds 12v to the turn/hazard switch, and the switch will apply 12v to both when no turn signal activated, the right only when the left signal is on,the left only when the right signal is on,and none when the hazards are on.With this in mind,it IS possible that the turn signal switch or wiring is the issue. If you are still running the original switch, try removing the switch and cleaning/regreasing the contacts(or look for something obviously worn or broken). If the switch is bad-hey,you got almost 50 years out of it! I'll bet you won't get that much longevity out of anything built now!

Turn signal lights stop working. Neither the right or left turn signal work. Heard a noise before it stop working. The flashing started slowing down and stop blinking. Now it doesn't work at all. What

most likely its the turn signal relay. which is under the hood. in the fuse box. also make sure ur running lights are working if they are connected to the turn signal.
