I would very much doubt it to cause the gearbox problem unless the transmission oil was leaking into the ra diator under pressure causing the gearbox to lose oil.

Why does my 2000 cadallic deville not shift in to low gear

Could be caused by any number of thing's , Worn part's inside the transmission , electronic part's , shift solenoids ,control module . Taking the vehicle to a qualified repair shop an having it diagnosed would be your best bet.
Check engine light on ? any other warning light'd lit on the instrument cluster ?

How to remove front left drive axel 2004 cadalic deville

front left is the drivers side. remove the wheel, remove the axle nut, disconnect and separate the ball joint, remove the axle from the spindle then pull the axle out of the transmission, you will loose some transmission fluid.

My transmission not changing properly due to a radator, could that be the problem because of the radator leak

Probably a different problem....get that radiator leak taken care of ASAP though- it will only get worse.

The most common automatic transmission shifting problems are caused by low transmission fluid. Follow your owners manual instructions and make sure you check it right. Normally this involves checking while the car is running so have somebody with you and use care.

There are aftermarket "tranny stop-slip" additives that I have had good luck with when used as soon as a slip is noticed. You may want to try one. Be careful not to overfill your transmission though- that can cause damage.

Overheating

at the bottom of the radator at one of the corners useally the left side there is what is called a petcock, turn that counter clock wise and the radator will start to drain, open the radator cap and it will go alot faster.

Its going dead once i stop and when it warms up it jerks

Try changing the fuel filter, check the timing, check your spark plug wires, check for vacuum leaks. ie: loose or cracked vacuum hoses, loose intake bolts, etc.
