First off , did you check fluid level ? any lights lit on the instrument cluster, check engine ? How many miles on It ? Ever change the fluid an filter ? can you manually shift through the gears.
DEFINITION: The transmission only provides first and second gear in Drive range. The shift pattern as the vehicle accelerates from a stop is 1-2-2-1. First gear ratio is 2.921:1 and second gear ratio is 1.568:1.
Control Valve Body Assembly
?€¢
A faulty 2-3 shift solenoid valve assembly (315B) is stuck On.
?€¢
Debris is found in the control valve body (301) or the control valve body spacer plate and gasket assembly (396
What
Transmission Solenoid did you replace ? Pressure control solenoid ? Shift control ? P0522 code is not saying oil pressure is low , It's saying the PCM is seeing sensor pressure low ! Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuits with a volt meter ? An this has nothing to do with your gears lit up . Different problem .
P0732 - Improper Ratio for Second Gear. P0734 - Improper Ratio for Fourth Gear.
This diagnosis monitors actual gear position by checking the torque converter slip ratio calculated by TCM as follows:
Torque converter slip ratio = A x C/B A: Output shaft revolution signal from revolution sensor B: Engine speed signal from ECM C: Gear ratio determined as gear position which TCM supposes
If the actual gear position is higher than the position (2nd and 4th) supposed by TCM, the slip ratio will be more than normal. In case the ratio exceeds the specified value, TCM judges this diagnosis malfunction.
This malfunction will be caused when shift solenoid valve B is stuck open.
Gear positions supposed by TCM are as follows. In case of gear position with no malfunctions: 1 , 2, 3 and 4 positions In case of gear position with shift solenoid valve B stuck open: 4* , 3, 3 and 4 positions to each gear position above.
Symptoms: Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
Diagnostic trouble code A/T 2ND GR FNCTN with CONSULT-II or P0732 without CONSULT-II is detected when A/T cannot be shifted to the 2nd gear position even if electrical circuit is good.
Possible Causes: - Shift solenoid valve B - Each clutch - Hydraulic control circuit
when this happens, have some one look at your brake lights to see if they are lit while you depress the brake pedal. if the light are not lit then the brake light switch is bad.
if the light are lit then the shift interlock solenoid under the shifter is bad
