Remove the ash tray, if I remember correctly there are three or four screws that mount the ash tray bracket (two are vertical and require a very short screwdriver). WIth this bracket removed, it exposes the bracket that mounts the radio, two or three screws there as well, then the radio just slides out of the dash. The radio will pull out far enough to be able to disconnect the wiring and antenna cable.

Sorry i forgot to say i have a 1996 saturn so i need the stereo wiring color code of stock stereo to put in my new stereo

Buy a wiring kit from wal-mart or stereo shop. It will allow you to plug into stock wiring without cutting anything, and have instructions for hooking up your new system. Cheap and easy, plus you can go back to stock should you ever sell the car.

Cd's will not eject

IS this the stock stereo that came with the vehicle or aftermarket
if its stock than it means its gone time to replace it
all stereo's usually have a fuse built into them in the back underneath the dash that can only be accessed when the entire stereo is removed it may be blown

Removing Stock Stereo

i have a 2000 but it should be the same....start at where the e - brake is, there is a little place where the rubber is on the ebrake where you can get under the plastic. Gently pry that up, that will remove that whole part (you will have to disconnect the cig lighter to move it completely off)
Next remove both the temperature knob and the one that selects air fow, behind those you will find two screws remove both of these and then that will pull off and then your at the radio, i don't remember if you need a tool to get it out or not but start from the bottome not the top!

How do I remove the stock radio?

EASY!...just pry off the two small plastic moldings on either side of the stereo (they just snap back in once removed) There are 4 screws that hold in the stock radio that need to be removed...done!
