You access the battery thru the right front wheel well...remove the right front tire and remove the access panel from the front of the wheel well. brace holding the battery in place, slide out battery and remove battery cables as they become accessible.... Pack a lunch as this is a lot more diffiucult than it appears. You might be better off just letting your mechanic replace it for you.

Battery will not hold a charge, altenator has been pulled and checked, it is good. What else could it be

Gina, Battery could be faulty have it checked, if battery OK, check all fuses/relays,connections/plugs, damaged wires, etc., take car in and have checked for a parasitic draw.

Have your battery tested / charged.
Totally dead battery may take some extra time to charge being hooked to cables.
When a battery is "hard discharged" as you described...sometimes they never recover and require replacement.

It has no fuel but spark is fine. but if you just jump it it will start

Sounds like a battery issue. Dead battery = no power to fuel pump. You then jump start and it gets power to fuel pump. Replace your battery

There is a strong possibility that you may have what is called a parasitic drain on your battery. Which simply means that there is something running in the background that is pulling a load on your battery. These kinds of drains can extremely hard to find. To help you determine of you have a parasitic drain you will need a multimeter. If you do not have one I would recommend taking your vehicle to a trusted automotive service center. Call then first to determine what they charge per hour for diagnostics. usually will be about 1 to 2 hours diagnostics time.

1995 dodge stratus keeps going dead in driveway. I jump it off and let it run 15 mins to charge battery up. Turn off and crank right up, but the next day it is dead again.

With engine running used a voltmeter and check voltage at battery, you will be checking alternator out put voltage, should have a reading of no less then 13.0 volts, if less bad alternator, the reason it keeps going dead is that the car is using the battery to run it .till the battery has no more power, then you jump it and the battery is charge up again and will run again till it goes dead again.
