Question about 1997 Chevrolet Suburban
AC is cold while in park (darn near ice cold) and gets hot while driving and all hot air coming from rear vents at all times, when i stop driving and put truck in park AC begins to blow cold air (up front) and continual hot air in rear

The brake lockout linkage is out of adjustment. It needs to be adjusted so that the shifter will operate. Hope this helps;

it should be under dash next to gas peddle on left end of heater box not that hard 2 screws and a plug. its called heater blend door actuator.

this is a problem that happens alot you have to use an impact driver for this and a impact torx bit. the driver is a cylinder shaped tool with a 3/8 drive head. you get the impact torx the the impact driver and a hammer. the tool is inexpensive and will do the trick.
