A switch is triggering your ac module to stop the compressor. it could be coming from your high pressure switch or your low pressure switch. you could have a clogged system or a low on gas system. i could only diagnosed it more if you can provide me with pressure readings of the high and the low side of the system while running on idling.

you can observe when the light will flash. is it while driving?, on high speed/..or low speed?..or even just on idling.?

i hope i was able to answer your inquiries

let me know if you have any more question..

pls rate me...

tnx..

    hello greg,

just a follow up, if you are low on gas, adding refrigerant could solve your problem but if the problem is a clogged system, then there are a lot of things to do which i think you can not do it yourself.

    cheers,

I have a compressor that works for air conditioning. The fan also works too. But the light inside still is flashing. Theres something thats causing the gas not to circulate.

A restriction of freon is usually caused by a plugged orifice tube. Your A/C system is a sealed system, so if there are contaminates in the system that have plugged up the orifice tube there is only one source...the compressor. If you have to change the orifice tube, you have to plan on changing the compressor as well. It can't be long for this world.

My air conditioning button stay lite all the time and the air doesnt work when the car is at and idle

if it stops working at idle or stop lights, the problem most likely is that the condenser is not getting cooling air from the ac fan in front of it
this results in a high head pressure and so the high pressure switch stops the ac compressor
take it to an accredited ac specialist shop for a proper diagnosis

Why does my car start most of the time, but not all the time?

Are you sure it has spark, next time no start condition happens try spraying some starter fluid in throttle body and see if it starts.
I say this because if your fuel pump is weak and failing the jiggling of the car when you move it could cause a weak pump to work.

no it could be air condition clutch that engage/disengage the air condition compressor and disengage it through the pulley or could be the pulley bearings one of them . also check the solenoid that controls that clutch .
have a good luck sir .

Air conditioner works every once in a while.

Hello..

Sounds like your A/C compressor is not cycling off with the pressure cycling switch. The reason the system gets cold on hard acceleration is because your car is equipped with a wide open throttle A/C cutoff relay which turns off the compressor to reduce the load the compressor takes away from the engine.

Try to replace the pressure cycling switch that is located on the AC accumulator. (the black canister close to the passenger side firewall)...The switch can be replaced by unscrewing from the accumulator without refrigerant loss because a schrader (tire type) valve will stop refrigerant from leaking out. Hope this helps...
