Question about 2002 Volkswagen Golf
Hi i am about to purchase a Volkswagen CD player to connect to my factory fitted Tape player.
The wires are all good for link-up but i was wondering as to whether the addition would require the radio code?
the cd player takes its power from the tape amp so I don't think it should make a difference, but, as i do not have the radio code, I feel slightly apprehensive just incase...
You shouldnt have any problems unless you disconnect the battery. Also if you havent purchased the unit yet i can get you a good deal on a brand new factory add on. I work at VW and have about ten instock that were ordered in error. I can also get you the code if you need it but I need the serial numbers on the side of the radio. Let me know
