Question about 2008 Audi A4 Sedan

1 Answer

Car bleeping intermittently ALL day when immobilised

My Audi A4 has developed a slight problem:-

When I lock it up there is an annoying bleeping sound (as if switching off the immobiliser - the sound is identical) which can vary from 5 bleeps to over 50!

This is continuous throughout the day / night, but only when I "lock it up"

It is annoying my neighbours (I have recently moved in), so would appreciate any help.

Thanks

SF

Have them check or replace TPS (throttle positioning sensor) Ot's basically a rheostat that controls throttle as you step on pedal. After time they develop "hot spots" or wear at certain spots that are used regularly. They stumble when TPS has a hot spot.

I've justreplced a new battery for my 2006 Audi A4. Everything is working fine, but whenever I use the key to lock my car, there is no "beep" sound and no light flashing indicating the alarm system is on....

unlock/hold key over for 30 secs ,windows will go down, then lock the car with key/hold over for 30 secs, windows will go up.then prees/hold down unlock button on remote for 30 secs, you have just reset the alarm/immobiliser.

Audi A4 "left dipped headlight" problem

I have the same issue on my 2002 A4. According to my Audi dealer mechanic, there is a sensor on the front suspension that controls the angle of the headlight. Replacing this may resolve the issue.
