Question about 2002 Jaguar X-Type
JUDDER WHEN ACCELLERATING OVER 2 REVS JAGUAR CODE P1111+ ON ECU DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS CODE REPRESENTS
I recently had the same code come up when my car failed to start in the mornings. It also said that the crank sensor had failed. Having changed the sensor and still not starting it went back to the garage. According to a Jag enineer the ECU will fail to register if it gets less than 12v from the battery, this will also throw up several codes for the diagostics. Solution, change the battery. Problem solved.

P1111 is a jaguar manufactuer specific code. its the intake air temp sensor, its built into the mass airflow sensor. the mass airflow sensor is located in the duct work between the air filter and the throttle body. you will have to replace the entire mass airflow sensor about 250.00 dollars
