CODE PO126 - INSUFFICIENT COOLANT TEMPERATURE FOR STABLE OPERATION. CHECK FOR LOW COOLANT LEVEL.FAULTY THERMOSTAT STUCK OPEN.OR MISSING THERMOSTAT.FAUTY COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR. CODE PO230 - FUEL PUMP PRIMARY CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION.POSSIBLE CAUSE FAULTY FUEL PUMP RELAY.OR PCM CIRCUIT FAILURE TO FUEL PUMP RELAY. DID NOT SEE CODES P1693 AND P1689.
P1689 - No communication between ECM & Injection Pump Module. This is why it's a hard start and the peddle isn't acting like it should. There's a problem where the (Computer) ECM, isn't making contact with the Injection Pump module. So the computer doesn't know what the pump is doing or sending. Could be a cut in the wires, corrosion, etc.. So many things it could be, fuel pressure is low.
P1689 - No communication between ECM & Injection Pump Module. This is why it's a hard start and the peddle isn't acting like it should. P1689 No Communication between ECM & Ins P1689 - Indicates a Data link failure between ECM and fuel injection pump. Low power, engine dereated or engine stops. POSSIBLE CAUSES:
Fuel Inj pump Gnd ckt open or high resistance
Fuel pump ctrl mod harness observable defect
Datalink (+) circuit open
Datalink (+) circuit short to ground
Datalink (-) circuit open
Datalink (-) circuit short to ground
Engine control module defective
