If you can turn the engine back on while coasting in neutral or after pulling over and it mostly happens on the highway it could be the ignition module heating up or the ECM. You can read about that at search 1995 Ciera.

Car cutting off??? and driving for 10min;and cutting back offmodule under core packs???

after car shuts off do you still have fuel pressure or ignition fire? most of the time on the 3.8 liter engine it is the ignition module that gets hot and cuts off. sometimes it can be fuel pump or even the crankshaft sensor.

After it runs for a while and gets hot the engine starts cutting up and then the car cuts off. the harmonic balancer, ignition module and spark plugs have been replaced

suggest that you have the idle cotrol sensor checked. when bad the car will not run at idle speed, sometimes even when car not even warm, will have to keep restarting it over @ over. hope this helps!!!

Truck cuts off while driving down the road.

Replace the TFI module. Ford back in 1986 thur 1993 had problems like the one you wrote about. TFI module gets hot and shuts car or truck off then when it cools sometmies starts and sometimes not.

CAR CUTS OFF WHEN IT GETS HOT MAYBE ENGINE MODULE Car shuts off when I am driving and when it gets hot.

if your car has a coil pack it could have a hair line crack and would need to be replaced this would cause the car to stop running once it get hot because when it overheats the coil pace quites allowing your spark pluges to fire which causes the car to stop running

Car cuts off when it gets hot

I dont know what year and engine you have but sounds like a typical ford ignition module problem. When it will not start, check the spark at one of the plug wires. If there is spark when it is cold but none once warmed up.Replace the module.Your parts house (autozone or advance) can check it for you.But remember it is going to test good when it is cold. They have no way to check it while its hot.If your not sure, have it checked out by a profesional.Good Luck!!!
