Question about 1991 Honda Civic
On the 1.5 engine does the crankshaft pulley bolt come off in clockwise direction and is there a special tool offered to hold the engine from turning while trying to remove this bolt. Any suggestions?
Lock a pair of vise grips to your flywheel.then rotate the engine till the vise grips are snug against the block and tranny.if u dont have a high torque impact gun you can use a half inch breakover bar with about a 6ft cheater bar.apply steady pressure until bolt breaks lose.the reason why the crank bolt is so tight is that every time you start the car it tightens the bolt.
