99 z71 hesitates real bad right after you start it for about 1/2 mile then ok until you shut it off and start it again. doesnt matter if its cold, hot, or already been drivin

what motor..fuel injected or not ? ..any leak under the truck...have to see if its fuel or electronics ...put a clear piece of hose in the gasline too see if you have air bubbles in the fuel......1st try starting it with the fuel cap offf ..see if that does it ..if it cranks for a bit to start you fuel could be flowing back to the tank when not running...but i would guess you gasline has a loose connection pr starting to rot

Bad gasline on 1978 nova how to repair

You will have to trace the line and find out where its leaking, or collapsed. If it is the rubber hose its best to replace that whole piece of hose. If it's the steel line, it can be cut out and have a piece put in to repair it. Don't let just anybody repair it though.

Car wont start after sitting overnight installed new fuelpump &gasline filter

Was the problem there before you replaced the pump ?
The one way valve in the pump could be letting fuel pressure drop to zero. The fuel pump relay may be faulty too.
Have you checked the fuel pressure before and after cranking the engine ?

1998 c1500 , code p300 , bad misfiring shortly after refueling , replaced plugs with no change , could it be bad gas ?? , also put in 3 bottles of injector cleaner that did not help

Probably water in the gas..., although its not common.. ... this problem should cure itself with your next tank of gas.. its not likely to be anything your check engine light on?? have you refilled the tank with gas yet?
Injector cleaner is ok, however they make a gasline product for up north to evaporate water out of the gas tank because the water will create ice or slush in the tank in cold weather..
Methyl Cloride is what I used to use in Canada, in the winter to evaporate water out of the tank.
And maybe you have a lot of water in the tank.... when you take off the fuel filter, you will be able to see water beading up (a clear gasline hose which does not come with your car) will tell you all sorts of stories about water and how clean your gas is (on the gas tank side of your filter)...

Use to much gas why

gas leak at the upper intake manifold. soon it will catch fire and use ALL your gas up in one fell swoop. replace the two 2" rubber gaslines where the steel lines connect to the fuel rail.
