Question about 2002 Ford F250 Super Duty SuperCab
With engine running, the A/C will do nothing. The actuator switch seems to be functioning as I can here the release of pressure when the swith is dialed. However, the blower will not blow & air does not come out. I've checked the blower motor by wiring directly & it works.I've replaced the switches that control the blower speed & actuator, the fuses under the dash, the relay under the hood, the hi pressure sensor & low pressure sensor. I cannot hear any sound coming from the A/C clutch. I don't know what else to check! Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
first, in the passengers side, there is a module that controls the fan speed, NOT the dial button, its located inside the cab, as noted, passengers side, where the passenger rest his foot, it has two screws and a connector, and has a thermic protection that is probably faulty, you can get this for 30 bucks or so.
second, have you perform a refrigerant test?
if the system does not have sufficient refrigerant charge, the pressure switch would not activate the compressor clutchTry this and get back to me, if you tell me more detailed info, i will happily help you.
