Went to Jiffy lube for an oil change. Afterwards, I turned on the heat and nothing. I had the heat when I arrived. They said that they did not do anything to the heater. Why doesn't my heater work? No fan, no nothing.

Did the Hyundai dealer say the noise was the result of using the aftermarket filter? If so, I would take a copy of that bulletin to Jiffy Lube and see what they say.
I get ask this question a lot. Should I do an engine flush? The answer to that is NO! If you have your vehicle serviced at a quick change lube, they will push services like this to you, especially if your a woman. Jiffy Lube is notorious for doing this. Every automotive manufacturer will state in their warranty, if you do this, they will void the warranty simply because it will cause a major engine failure. Over time sludge and deposits build up in an engine, when you flush it, it breaks up these deposits and they settle in the oil pan. Even when you drain the oil and place a new oil filter on, some of these broken up deposits remain in the engine plugging up the oil lube ports. This stops oil from properly lubing vital parts inside the engine causing engine failure. Products like engine flush are known as snake oils in the automotive repair business. The best and safe way to stop sludge build up or remove it, is to use a good quality synthetic oil and quality oil filter. This will end your sludge problem over time. One more thing, avoid quick change lube centers, any of them no matter if it's EZ- Lube, Jiffy Lube, Wal-Mart and on and on. The people working there are not automotive techs, the have not went to collage or have a degree in automotive technology. No one with a degree in automotive technology is going to be working at a quick lube center for minimum wage, they will be working in a good independent service center or dealership making $22 or more per hour. For more information on this, go to youtube and search Jiffy Lube Scam. There are tons of news story video's on all of these centers.
I dont think there is a connection between an oil change and the gallons per mile.
With that age car, I suggest a Terra engine clean. It will blow away nine years of gunk from the spark plugs, fuel injectors, cylinders and exhaust. Should give you more power, more miles..
You did not mention the year make and model, but unless it is a diesel I doubt the weight of oil would do it. I would take it back as quick as possible before it locks up. You have checked to make sure the oil level is full, right ?
hi, this is a clear sign that it needs replacing, over time oil changes color so when it changes this is usually a good sign to get it drained and filled with new oil
if you dont then this could cause you problems in the long term as the oil wont lube as well as it should do and this can then cause over heating and damage to parts due to friction
get the oil changed and you should have no problems
This usually just means the coolant level is low. If you are unsure how to check it yourself, ask a friend, or take it to a mechanic. The oil-change services (Jiffy-Lube, Q-Lube, etc.) will usually check and add coolant as part of their normal oil-change service as well, if you happen to be needing an oil change too.
you need to take the vehicle to a real mechanic. Jiffy lube employes are not mechanics. Change your oil at jiffy lube and get mechanical work done at a reputable auto dealer or mechanic shop.
