How to remove the dash to replace light bulb - 2004 Toyota Celica

Yes, there is a replaceable bulb. If you can't reach up behind the dash to remove the bulb, you will have to remove the instrument panel assembly.

Will have to replace the bulb. This is done from inside the trunk. Remove carpeted cover and there are twist type sockets in the housing which hold the bulbs. For the dash, you will have to remove the cluster assy and locate the correct bulb, twist and remove socket assy. it is a small bulb in the dash!

Generally on high end cars, if the dash says there is something wrong,normally it is. I would not advise trying to remove the bulb from the car. This light will come on even if one small bulb on the outside of the car is out. Make sure you look at all the bulbs, there is generally one bulb out if that light is coming on.

Dash lights are replaced from the rear of the cluster or control thats out, take note that some of these newwer cars and trucks have clusters that the bulbs are part of the electronic curcuit boad and cant be replaced, the whole unit would need to be replaced, this is something you wont know until the cluster is removed, there are many lights behind the cluster, a trick i learned is to remove a bulb you untwist it and it pops out, then pull the bulb from the socket and install a new bulb into socket, then line up slots on socket push in and twist to lock, the trick is there are a lot of bulbs so remove the bulb and then shine a liight throuh the hole and look at the front of the cluster to see if its a night light or a symbol to see if its the correct light. hope this helps, good luck.

yes they are they take the miniture bulbs to replace them you must remove the four screws holding them on from the back side 5/16ths to get them off then slide out and allow to drop down follow wires and twist sockets out to remoce aocket and replace bulbs, ther are 4 bulbs in the dash console for ac and heat.

pop fuse cover, remove vent housing, remove speedo upper cover, remove 4 bolts holding speedo remove speedo, change bulb

WHILE REPLACEING OTHER DASH LIGHT BULBS THE JOSTLING JUST BURNT OUT THE ALREADY CLOSE TO FAILING D4 BULB.

yes this is most likly a bulb you can take a small torqes bit remove gage cluster and the bulb housing make a half turn and removes once removed just pull out bulb may have to wiggle a bit

i think it could be bulb issue.

you have to remove the dash board and replace bulbs that are busted. replacing the bulb is no problem . the problem is taking the dash off. need to remove the dash cover first before you can remove the actual dash.

another thing to consider is the speedometer cable which is attached at the center of the gauge.
