I have no tail lights or dash lights. I DO have head lights, turn signals, and brake lights. when i use my key pad to lock the doors all the lights flash including the lights the wont come on while the van is running. The lights DON'T come on when i turn the head light switch on. My daytime running park lights come on during the day and the automatic heads lights come on when it starts to get dark . The park lights and headlights DON'T come on together. I have already tried replacing ALL the bulbs and fuses and I still don't have tail lights. What could be the problem

Typically this is caused by a bad dimmer switch or a connection at the plug to the dimmer switch.

SOURCE: tail lights don not work including back window light

you can check the small button that the brake pedal pushes against when you push the brake sometimes this switch gets stuck in and does not let the brake lights come on its under the dash above the brake pedal it has two wires on it take them off and touch the two wires together and the lights should come on if they do the switch is faulty bestaluck glenn.......

SOURCE: 2003 Sienna tail lights don't work when headlights are on

Look under the dashboard, next to/above the park brake pedal, for the interior fuse box. It has a black plastic cover. Remove the TAIL fuse, and see if it is blown. This should get you fixed up. Hope this helps, and Thanks for choosing FixYa.

SOURCE: Headlights don twork

the daytime running lamps are the high beam bulbs connected in a series which puts a lower voltage to them causing them to appear dimmer. if your low beams are not working i'd start by checking the bulbs to make sure they're not just burnt out. then check the fuses. if that doesnt work let me know and i'll help you trouble shoot it further

SOURCE: tail lights don t work

Remove the headlamp switch. Check power at the brown wire. If you have power then the problem is after the switch. If you don't have power with the headlamps on then recheck the fuses.

Head lights, tail lights and dash lights won't come on.replaced head light switch but didn't resolve problem

Not the turn signal switch if the dash is out also. Check the fuse for the dash/illumination first. If good, then you have a power or ground problem to the switch. If bad and they come on, replace the turn signal switch.

How to fix my tail lights, my head lights work, brake light works and turn signals work, dash do too

Maybe a broken or lose wire. The turn signal and brake lights operate from one wire and the tail lights operate from a separate wire. It is possible that the tail light elements burned out of both bulbs. Pull the bulbs out and check them first.

Dash and tail lights not workjng brake and turn signal on passanger side not working

The dash and tail lights are on two different circuits, and the brake and turn signals are on different circuits, so at least 4 circuits total.
I would start at the headlight switch and check for power on the first two issues.

Have head and brake lights, no tail or dash lights.

A simple 12v test light will track this problem down.(Unless someone has been butchering the wiring,it's probably a bad headlight switch).

1984 Chevy Suburban tail lights not working

Check the tail light bulbs, check to make sure the dash lighting switch is turned up but not turned so far up that the interior lights come on when the door is closed.

No tail lights or dash lights

If you have checked the fuses for those two circuits and they have power, the next step would be testing the headlight switch.
