Impala My car will not start and it's not battery because I bought a new one a week ago...what could it be?

I have the same problem with my 06 impala. From window issues the dealer cannot fix, to tire pressure monitor the dealer can't fix, to heater only working at high rpms, to running rough at 2000 rpms and throw in a potential transmission problem. Hopefully, I can trade it on a toyota.

Passlock Ignition - Chevrolet knows this is a problem, but their answer is "The Passlock Ignition is not our product, so we do not know how to fix it." Their fix??? Putting in a new ignition. Ouch! We had it done a year ago. Rumor is it will happen again eventually, and we are already dealing with a plethora of issues with our 05 Impala....Enough issues that I, a long-time Chevy owner, will not buy another chevy product. It is one thing for a bad model to come out...I can understand that...What i can not understand is GM not standing behind their shoddy product.... Poor customer service means I'm saying goodbye to Chevrolet.

I have a 2007 impala it will not start no clicking, all the lights come on. When the key is turned lights and radio cuts off, just bought my battery a month ago

Sounds like a bad alternator. Boost vehicle, if starts disconnect from boost vehicle, run Impala for a few minutes then disconnect positive on battery, if Impala stops running likely the alternator no good, replace it.

1996 impala, dead battery replced with new,not driven for 1 week, went to start and battery is dead

It could be the alternator is not charging the battery. the people at Auto Zone can check for free if you can get it started and drive it there. some chevy alternators will work fine till they get hot, then they quit working.

Battery on 2007 chevy impala died last week

Take it back to the place where you bought it and have them test it. Not all 'new' batteries are perfect. Many can be defective from the factory or damaged during shipping etc.
