Not really but they do suffer from mass air flow sensors to some extent ,had to renew quite a few on these earlier cars when they get a bit older

When I am accelerating the car sputters and dies some time if you can keep it idling about 1 rpm it might not die but it still sputters. if at a stop light it will sputter and quite. The car restarts.

Sound like it needs a tune up, replace spark plugs check high tension cables , make sure there is a good spark to the plugs, clean or replace air filter, replace fuel filter , check fuel pressure and flow. check fuel injectors for leaks.

Jerks and looses power on hills and flat land no engine light comes on what can be wrong?

When you said it feels like its not getting enough gas, you may be right.
Since you have replaced the fuel filter, and you are not getting a check engine light, my suggestion would be to check fuel pressure with a gauge. The fuel pump may be weak.

I loose power accelerating and it backfires and it chuggs.

I would change the spark plugs and wires, make sure that distributor is in good shape as well. Also, check your fuel pump, fuel filters, air filter and timing. Your issue is gas/spark related. =)

I would take the truck to an autoparts store and have the fault codes retrieved from the computer. Most stores will do the scan for free. I would lean toward a faulty throttle position sensor, but that's just speculation. The fault codes should narrow the problem down. Hope this helped and best wishes.

My 1999 nissan maxima has a rough idle and some time dies at idle

It may be throttle position sensor or camshaft sensor. Most likely the throttle sensor.

1996 Mitsubishi Montero has no power..

My 96 Pajero SWB 3.0 would loose power as soon as i accelerate. It feels like the spark plugs are miss firing or if the engine was flooded.

I did a general service which included oil change, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs i checked my O2 sensor, dissembled and cleaned throttle body and sensors. Cleaned air intake sensor as well as the distributer etc.

Problem not solved, still loose power when i accelerate....can it be something wrong with my ECU??

My A/C control isnt working at all. Found a 15Amp fuse that was blown but when replaced it shorts again. Where can i get a wiring diagram of the heater/a/c system for my vehicle model?

I have acceleration problems at times here and there.

sounds like a spark plug/ spark plug wire problem. i would change the plugs and wires this is a cheap fix and can be done with little effort.
