After replacing my distributor on my 89 toyota corolla it wont start

It is possible that if you replaced the distributor, you simply have the plugs in the wrong firing order. Another possibility is that you need new spark plugs, wires, plugs, distributor rotor and possibly a distributor cap. A long shot problem is the ignition coil, but since you have spark in one plug, it is unlikely.

1992 gmc serria no fire

check ignition fuse, if ignition coil is okay.replace the distributor cap and rotor, replace spark plugs and wires, could have bad ignition module, distributor ignition timing off, could have faulty pcm. have vechicle code scan before spending lot of money guessing.

Distributor not firing on a 92 tercel

Don''t know who or how this check was done but should compare resistance between terminals on coil with another small difference was my problem 1991 tercel you can also hook 12v batt. pos. to +term.on coil with sparkplug and wire conn. directly to coil grounding outside of plug to neg.term. of batt. now connect wire to -on coil and momentarily touch to batt. - you should get spark across gap of plug .This will determine for yourself if coil is indeed good or bad. I was very surprised another coil from junkyard cured problem!!!

Sluggish at ignition for 1992 tercel dx. Had the rotor capplugs wires ignition coil done.still didnt solve. Exaust line is rusted no muffler. Is this the problem ?sluggish only at ignition (coughing)..good...

Is the check engine light coming on? If so your o2 sensor may not be working right because of the bad exhaust problem? Change distributor cap also. Check timing. Hope some of this helps.

94 toyota tercel with no spark

Does it got a distribiter or does is it have a coil pack.I'm thinking an distribiter with 4 spark plug tirminals,I would look into the Ignition Control Module if it has one.I looked at a parts listing for the car and it shows it has one but looked at a Typical Ignition System Schematic and it doesn't show the igniton control module in there. But i would think it is needed to control the spark.I would look into it and see if there is one,if there is i would test it that would be my guess of what's causing no spark.I got a pic of the ignition control module and theTypical Ignition System Schematic for you.

Hope it helps

I had the same problem recently but replacing the ignition Coil under the distributor (inside) solved the problem. Also replaced the distributor Cap and rotor at the same time.
