Electrical issues are the most difficult to fix. If you can't duplicate the problem in the shop, you're usually out of luck. It could be a weak relay for things like the fuel pump, a weak electrical connection somewhere, problems with the circuit board inside the engine computer, and so on. It would help if you could narrow down the area of interest like fuel or spark. Carry a can of starting fluid and a spark plug tester and be ready to check things when it quits running or won't start. And check the computer for trouble codes even if the check engine light doesn't come on.
You will need to explain all that at a repair shop, so they can duplicate the issue & then do some testing, to find & resolve the problem No one can tell you over the internet on a guess Always need the car to find any problems
Install a new crank shaft sensor. I had the same problem with my wife's Jeep. It would run fine fore days at a time then quit. When the crank sensor goes out their is no spark or injection of fuel into the engine. This is a Hall Sensor. They can be intermittent, and affected bu heat. If your Jeep will not start, try freeing the sensor and see if it starts. Cold Freeze is used in electronics to test
Year make and model ?? The belt could be glazed and slipping even if it is tight. You could have a weak belt tensioner too. The noise when the ac or heat is turned on can be the extra load from the ac compressor or the alternator. The compressor cycles on and off especially in defrost mode. The load from the alternator is the first noise of the day. As the belt warms up it becomes better at handling the load of the accessories. Even tho the belt looks fine, you may have to replace it to get rid of the noise.
Is it turning over? If It turns over and starts somedays it may be a extremely easy fix. Just take a wire brush or something similiar and clean off the battery terminals and posts. It will allow clear good connection. :) start with the negative
