2004nissian maxima..replace po435..now the battery and brake light turn on and my cars dies

Quick way to see if your alternator is bad is to start the engine and let it idle. Then, while idling, turn on the lights. If the car dies right away or if it dies shortly after your alternator is bad.

I have a 1999 buick regal ls dying.

I have a 99 Buick Regal and it too dies out, but only when I use my turn signals. Sometimes, when trying to start the car...the dash lights would flicker and you can hear some sort of electrical ticking sound. As of today, my car will not start (5/24/09) it hadn't turned over since yesterday. After a process of elimination and searching the net, I think I need a new ignition switch. You may need one as well.

Definately have broke the timing belt. The turning over faster did it for me. That is a clear sign the timing belt broke.
