Is ur engiene stil running smoothly? When the car stops going forward, does the engiene stop running as well? I suggest u take this car for scanning to ascertain the real problem but this is usualy a computer box problem with this model.

did u remove the transmission and have it fixed or u just got one from the junker because shoul have low gear forward at least if ur second tranny have a good reverse and no low frward seems u pick a bad one and assuming the fluid level is good

change it assuming your talking about the belt that drives your water pump, you could do it yourself in five minutes......

3/4" wrench lock onto tensionor push forward remove small belt, install in reverse.......

95 mazda 626 automatic transmition....will not reverse


Check you transmission fluid level and if it's not your transmission, I'm thinking that your brake shoe lineing in the rear brakes may have separated and is jamming up aginst the drums when your trying to back up. Sorry can't halp you with any more, good luck and start with that and hope it help's.
