The oil pressure sending unit on a 6.0L is found on the top of the engine just a little in front of the oil filter. Here is a picture but it might be hard to see. On the right hand side of the picture it says Oil Pressure Switch, try to follow that arrow. Sorry the picture is so blurry
2006?? if so then its common rail with one high pressure pump ,the fuel through the filters is low pressure anyway ,then it goes into the high pressure pump that delivers the pressure to the injectors .If you dont know what your doing with this new piece of kit then refer to the dealer because it has a lot of fancy electronics controlled by encrypted software
a misfiring engine wont have enough power to sustain a load thats why when you shift it dies.you need to retify the problem first.check for any presence of water in the diesel fuel.Not enough fuel pressure
