Yes,
Some vehicles, if at an idle will do this. You can put a big fan in front of the car- blowing air against/ into the condenser and it will cool down the A/C. This might be because of a restriction at the "pencil" filter or "orifice" filter, on the high-pressure side,(coming out of the "dryer". If this small inline filter is restricted, it could also mean that the system needs to be flushed and recharged. At this time, a mechanic can see what component, could be surrendering the contaminants @ a number of places-the dryer-the compressor or the inline filters, worse case--the compressor. Then again, if the system is either "low" on refrigerant or over charged, it can have an effect like this.

hi experts: I have a 2003 mercury mountaineer with mileage of 130K AND has been properly serviced. The problem is there is an increasing noise as I accelerate, which seems to come from the back rear wheels. The tires are properly inflated, only 10K on it. Please provide me with some expert opinion. please email: jacthomann@gmail.com

Hi...I have a mazga protege 2002 and the battery (charging light) is always on. Also, after playing with a few harnesses under the hood I ended with a check engine light as well. The car is equipped with anti-theft device , that could be part of the problem. Any idea where I could start the troubleshooting...I have no wiring diagram. Maybe I could isolate a few systems but I don't know where to begin with ? Help!C.Meunier
