most cars today have no such thing, (the old skool blinker modules are gone due to magic of BCM computer is just pure software loops)

under dash some where; guess driver side.
I will suggest checking the EGR valve, and intake manifold gasket leak. Very common on this engine.
Hello I also have an 02 axiom (which I bought new) and I have been having the same problem for over a year and the mechanics at my Isuzu dealer where I bought my car from can't figure out what is wrong with it. They have change so many parts which it has add up to over two thousand dollars. My car started with the shaking and then started to shut off now and then, and today it shuts off on me more than 20 times a day. Still the mechanics can't figure out what's wrong since there aren't any codes showing on the computer. Now they think is the computer that is bad.
I suggest you find out soon what is causing your problem before it gets as bad as my Axiom or get in to an accident like I almost happened to me more than a half a dozen times.
