I am purchasing a new set of Kumho tres for my Hyundai I30 as the present ones have done just on 60000 klms. The trye dealer has offered me wheel alignment front and back for $48.50 each! Is it worth doing the rear as I have not heard of this before. Wondering if they are doing an "upsell on me"

I would recommend having a 4-wheel alignment done every time you replace your tires. It makes for better handling, steering, traction, and of course reduces unnecessary tire wear.

How many kms will I get out of my petrol when the fuel light comes on in my Hyundi i30

5 klms may be 10 f you are very lucky
letting the fuel go that low is false economy as it could cause a fuel pump to fail and pick up all the muck in the tank
it is a good rule to live by that when it hits the 1/4 mark look for a station as there may not be one handy at 5 klms

My Rodeo has gear box noise, requires.. Techline Tl.1761A..0909 which is a modification to send oil to top of the box. I have owned the ute for six months. I was hoping to get some help from my GM dea

The modification you quote would have been issued from the manufacturer and should have been applied at a service point or you should have been notified to present the vehicle for the modification at a suitable time . I take it that you purchased the vehicle new from the dealer. I would approach the dealer manager and ask why the modification was not carried out under warranty and ask that it now be done free of charge. If he refuses then the friendship ends and I suggest a talk with legal council to have the matter dealt with as all modifications have to be carried out either inside or outside warranty. IT will have something to do with a recognised engineering design fault which will override any warranty period .

Hyundai 2013 I30 gearbox 'SKLITCH' between 5th and 6th gear

It sounds like BS to me but what do I know. I'm only in this business for 40 years. What they did was put heavy oil in the gear box to try to mask the sound. That's why it is difficult to shift (stiff).

Alway ask for the old parts when a replacement is not visible after repairs!

Esp off light comes on and steering clunk on i30 cw

the ESP Light coming on without your input probably means their is a fault with the system, electronic stability programs are quite complicated so id take it to your dealer and get them to see to it, id get them to have a look at the steering while your their, it may just need a wheel alignment.

We replaced the battery and lost the radio service. Is there a way to get the code easily please.

First check your paperwork and manual to see if the little wallet card with the code is on it.
Hondas have the exact same issue except that with Hondas you can go online, register, enter the original purchase date (when it was purchased new), the VIN and the Serial Number of the stereo and get the code. I've done some research on Hyundai and unfortunately they don't offer this service online and when you call them they don't have codes for any vehicles newer than 1995.
Your only option is to go to the service department at a Hyundai dealer. They can do it but expect to be charged.
Good luck!

Shaking steering above 60mph

First we need to know where is the shaking noise coming from?Is your car a 4X4?If noise comes from a driven wheel it can be the differential system or bearing also.Usually the speed you have specified is pointing to wheel alignment problem. Also can advice to go to a different tire shop and check wheel alignment again, also ask the mechanic to check the state of your wheels and tires. One of them may be damaged .
