Check the oil level.

    Try engine restore. I did, it's pretty good stuff. Just add to an oil change next time you have one.



    Hope it's not a rod loose!

Pcv valve chevrolet lumina


I've had the 3100 v6 chev lumina car but not the van, the pcv valve is located in the front valve cover to the right hand side.

How do you change the oil pump in a 1995 chevy lumina 3100


You must remove the oil pan. I do not think you can do this with the engine in the car. If you can remvove the pan from the bottom without engine removal, it would be easy. Most every engine has to be removed to fully remove the oilpan. So my solution is- remove engine, remove oilpan, remove pump, replace pump, pan, and engine.

1995 lumina cranks but will not start


Does it have the anti-theft system, if so check for the two wires that go to the ignition switch and make sure they are not broken. If they are they will need to be fixed in order to get it too run again
