I'm going to replace the front driver's side window on my 2009 Versa. I've done this on more than one vehicle. My obstacle is getting the switch panel (power window, power lock switches) off, without breaking clips or plastic. This is the hardest part of the whole job.

I cant find a fuse on a VE holden Commodore 2009

The fuse box on a 2009 Holden Commodore VE is typically located in one of two places:

Under the hood: The fuse box is usually located on the driver's side of the vehicle, near the firewall. It is a rectangular box with a black or gray plastic cover. You may need to lift the hood to access the fuse box.

Inside the vehicle: On some models, the fuse box is located on the driver's side, under the dashboard. It is usually located to the left of the steering wheel, near the driver's door.

To find the specific fuse that you are looking for, you will need to consult the owner's manual for your vehicle. This will provide a diagram of the fuse box, as well as a list of the fuses and their functions. The manual should also provide instructions on how to check and replace a fuse if necessary.

If you are having difficulty finding the fuse box or identifying the correct fuse, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a professional mechanic. They will have the experience and knowledge to help you locate the fuse and make any necessary repairs.

My passenger side power window will not go down. The motor is going (works), switch was replaced. I tested the wires going to the motor and it's getting power. The really odd part is it randomly works...

Could be the driver side switch. there is a power pass thru in the driver controls that if the contacts get corroded will start to cause slow and intermittent operation. Measure the voltage at the motor while actuating both the driver and passenger controls for the problem window. Also, while actuating the passenger side switch, jiggle the driver control switch to see if any change can be affected.

Why wont windows and lock work? could it be the front ecu?

Check inside of door where wiring comes thru for broken wires ,ECU doesn't control windows or door locks. You didn't state what model vehicle you own. But opening and closing door on drivers side causes broken wires on numerous vehicles over the years, most makes and models. Split boot and check all wires inside for breakage.

2009 GMC Sierra front windows will not roll down. The drivers side switch when pressed will cause a click in the passenger window, but will not roll down. The rear windows and mirrors work fine from the...

Most likely you have to replace the switch assembly on the driver side it probably got wet over the years from rain and snow and cause it to short out. Do not get a used part from a scrap yard because your end up with the same problems.

Blue light on left side of dash looks like a thermometer on a 2009 Nissan Versa

This is simply a notification that the vehicle is not yet up to temperature. Once the vehicle warms up after a few minutes running, this light will go out.
This is there to warn the driver not to use the vehicle too aggressively while the vehicle is cold as this will promote a greater amount of wear and tear on the engine.

Both of the electric windows have stopped working on my 2 door ford focus

Try spraying some electrical contact cleaner into all of the switches on the main controll on the drivers door. With the vehicle running ignition on . It s likely just a bad connection water gets in between the window glass and the switches . If that dosn't work remove the main switch and clean the contacts and it will work again.

I would like to install rear-obstacle-detection on volvo xc 2009

what ever you do, do not tap into any existing wires from the vehicle, this WILL cause contamination in the comunication betwen the body control module & what module the wire you just tapped into. THIS will cause more problems and the dealer will not fix it under warranty. I would seriously have this done professonaly installed and make sure they will pay for any issues that might come up from having this installed, (dealership repair bills due improper installation)

Windo motors wont work

The driver side window switch is the master switch, the power or input to either roll the window up or down goes thru that switch. Double check all the connections on the back of the driver side window switch are good. With a DVOM you can also check to see if 12v are even getting to the master switch in the first place. If you aren't even getting power to the main power window switch you could've blown the power window fuse.

Power windows

Most of these switches work together, if one side is bad, the other side may not work or vice-versa, it is very possible that the master switch on the drivers door is bad, a volt-ohm meter can get you going in the right direction by checking for the current/voltage at the passenger side when you engage the switch; if no current is getting thru, bad master on driver side most probablly.
