I had the same problem. Dealer fixed it under warranty. A few months later, left rear window did same thing. Also fixed by dealer under warranty.

rear driver side window went down a door will not open what to do

I have the same problem as of today. 2007 Jeep Liberty with 32k miles. Drivers window made a crunch noise when trying to raise. Stopped immediately and manually adjusted window then raised all the way. In December when I bought the car, after a week, the rear passenger window fell down. I love the car but will go after Chrysler if I have to pay for replacement. Maybe call the white house and ask for President's warranty office after Pres announced they will back the warranties for car buyers.

I have a loud creaking noise coming from the rear of my 2006 wrangler. 4" lift with 35x 12.50's. The noise only occurs at low speed and when turning, like something is binding. I have had people listen and cannot tell exactly where the noise is coming from but it is embarrassingly loud.

When motor is all the way up do you hear a rattling in the door?

I had the same problem. Dealer fixed it under warranty. Guess I was lucky.

I have the same problem. There is a recall from Chrysler. The window regulator and window needs to be replaced. Ours was replaced under warranty. I still have the problem. My next step is to open it up myself. Seems to be a regular problem. Good luck.

How do i check the window switch jeep liberty?

Get yourself a test light and remove the switch from the door panel, you should have 12v going to one side of the switch and when you activate the switch power should be available at the other side. If you remove the door panel and access the wires going to the window motor, you should get power to the motor when you activate the switch. If you have power going to the motor and the motor doesn't run.....has top be a bad motor.

Rear window wont go up and just falls down unless held up. can hear the motor workn n when i try 2 "roll" window up a cable comes out a plastic tube. the working motor on the other side a cable moves in...

You will need to replace the window regulator, thats the part with all the cables coming out of it. The door panel will need to come off in order to replace.

I just purchased a 2007 jeep liberty sport

I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty and the smae lever that tilts the seat also moves it forward and back. Press forward or back on the switch. Also check for blown fuse or a loose wiring connector under the drivers seat. Good luck, Techjoel

Back passenger window will not go up, but it will go down.

It obviously takes more power to push the window up than to release it down. I believe that the regulator on your motor is going bad. I believe that you have to replace the entire assembly. It is actually a simple job to do though. You first have to pop the door panel off which is held on by plastic clips and three screws. Then pop the two linkages for the lock and handle out and unplug electrical you then have to take the wrap off that is held by black RTV that is used for moisture control. there should be to brass clips holding your window in that you need to pop off and release the window from the assembly and unhook the power wire for the window motor. Then there are about five bolts holding the assembly in (3 for the motor and 2 or three for the track) once you unbolt them the assembly will slide out. Then in goes the new one; you may need someone to help hold the window once you get it in place and you are clipping it in. I think the assembly is 70-90 dollars.
